September 21, 2024: Pebble Beach, CA 93953 Monta Vista Matadors (Cupertino, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Stevenson Pirates (Pebble Beach, CA), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Monta Vista improves its record to 13-1 on the season. The Matadors host Homestead (Cupertino, CA) to encounter the Mustangs in a test on Tuesday, September 24. The Mustangs go into the test with a record of 3-4. Homestead lost 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Lincoln (Stockton, CA)
The Pirates now own a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Monterey County for a non-league test on Thursday, October 10.
