Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Springfield knocks off Archbishop Carroll
September 21, 2024: Springfield, PA 19064 Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Springfield Cougars (Springfield, PA) and the visiting Archbishop Carroll Patriots (Radnor, PA), saw Springfield's soccer squad prevail over Archbishop Carroll by a count of 5-1.
The Cougars (8-3) will now prepare for their battle against Strath Haven (Wallingford, PA). The Panthers enter the Central battle with a 0-8 record. In their last battle, Strath Haven by Avon Grove (West Grove, PA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Patriots confront the Devon Prep Tide (Devon, PA) in a Philadelphia Catholic battle, on Tuesday, September 24. Archbishop Carroll will attempt to upgrade on its 1-10 season record.
