New Mexico High School Soccer - Aztec toppled by Hatch Valley
September 21, 2024: Hatch, NM 87937 Hatch Valley Bears (Hatch, NM) backers exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Aztec Tigers (Aztec, NM), 7-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Hatch Valley advances its record to 3-9 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Hot Springs (Truth or Consequences, NM) to clash with the Tigers in a A/3A District 3/4 test on Tuesday, September 24. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 3-5. Hot Springs won 4-1 in their recent non-league test against Gallup (Gallup, NM)
The Tigers now have a 2-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Miyamura for a 4A District 1 test on Tuesday, September 24. Aztec will clash with a Patriots team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Oak Grove Classical Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Patriots record now stands at 5-5.
