Maine High School Soccer - Windham knocks off Thornton Academy
September 21, 2024: Windham, ME 04062 Fans at Saturday's league battle between the Windham Eagles (Windham, ME) and the visiting Thornton Academy Trojans (Saco, ME), saw Windham's soccer squad triumph over Thornton Academy by a count of 7-0.
The Eagles (5-0) will now prepare for their battle against Kennebunk (Kennebunk, ME). The Rams enter the Class A - South battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Kennebunk tipped Marshwood (South Berwick, ME), 1-0, in a league battle.
Next up, the Trojans battle the Cheverus Stags (Portland, ME) in a Class A - South battle, on Wednesday, September 25. Thornton Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Stags enter the battle with a 2-4 record after their 4-0 league win over Noble (North Berwick, ME).
