The Polk County Slammers overwhelmed the host Logan View/Scribner-Snyder softball squad by a count of 13-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Slammers meet the Blue River (David City, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 21. Polk County will attempt to upgrade on its 12-10 season record. The go into the challenge with a 11-8 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Centennial (Utica, NE).

The (8-15) will now prepare for their challenge against Aquinas (David City, NE). The Monarchs go into the non-league challenge with a 9-11 record. In their last challenge, Aquinas was routed by Pierce (Pierce, NE), 10-8, in a league challenge.
