September 21, 2024: Vienna, MO 65582 The Vienna Eagles overwhelmed the visiting Lutheran South Lancers softball squad by a count of 8-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Eagles meet the St. Elizabeth Hornets (St. Elizabeth, MO) in a Class 1 District 5 challenge, on Monday, September 23. Vienna will attempt to upgrade on its 11-2 season record. The Hornets go into the challenge with a 10-2 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to New Bloomfield (New Bloomfield, MO).
The Lancers (8-9) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Dominic (O'Fallon, MO). The Crusaders go into the non-league challenge with a 10-4 record. In their last challenge, St. Dominic held off Fort Zumwalt South (St. Peters, MO), 21-3, in a non-league challenge.
