The Appomattox County Raiders edged the host Franklin County Eagles volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league game.

Next up, the Raiders confront the Nelson County Governors (Lovingston, VA) in a Dogwood game, on Tuesday, September 24. Appomattox County will attempt to advance on its 8-3 season record.
