September 21, 2024: Jesup, IA 50648 Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Cascade Cougars (Cascade, IA) and the host Jesup J-Hawks (Jesup, IA), observed Cascade's volleyball team hold off Jesup by a count of 2-1.
The Cougars (13-8) will now prepare for their contest against Camanche (Camanche, IA). The Indians enter the contest with a 7-6 record. In their last contest, Camanche was tipped by Clinton (Clinton, IA), 2-0, in a league contest.
Next, the J-Hawks battle the Union Knights (La Porte City, IA) in a contest, on Tuesday, September 24. Jesup will attempt to move on its 16-6 season record. The Knights enter the contest with a 11-5 record after their 3-0 league win over Wapsie Valley (Fairbank, IA).
