September 21, 2024: Portland, OR 97214 Central Catholic Rams (Portland, OR) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting McMinnville Grizzlies (McMinnville, OR), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Central Catholic improves its record to 10-3 on the season. The Rams travel to Clackamas (Clackamas, OR) to face the Cavaliers in a 6A Mt. Hood test on Tuesday, September 24. The Cavaliers go into the test with a record of 3-4. Clackamas lost 3-1 in their recent league test against Sandy (Sandy, OR)
The Grizzlies now own a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hillsboro for a non-league test on Saturday, September 21. McMinnville will face a Spartans squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Putnam (Milwaukie, OR). The Spartans record now stands at 1-5.
