The Perkins County Plainsmen volleyball squad (Grant, NE), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league match with the visiting Leyton Warriors (Dalton, NE)

Next up, the Warriors battle the Garden County Eagles (Oshkosh, NE) in a D2 District 10 match, on Tuesday, September 24. Leyton will attempt to move on its 12-0 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 11-1 record after their 2-0 league win over Mullen (Mullen, NE).

The Plainsmen (10-3) will now prepare for their match against Bayard (Bayard, NE). The Tigers enter the C2 District 12 match with a 2-5 record. In their last match, Bayard was tipped by Alliance (Alliance, NE), 3-0, in a non-league match.
