California High School Volleyball - Xavier College Prep tips Los Alamitos

September 21, 2024: Los Alamitos, CA 90720

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Xavier College Prep Gators (Phoenix, AZ) and the host Los Alamitos Griffins (Los Alamitos, CA), observed Xavier College Prep's volleyball team hold off Los Alamitos by a count of 2-1.

The Gators (12-1) will now prepare for their contest against Valley Vista (Surprise, AZ). The Monsoon enter the non-league contest with a 9-5 record. In their last contest, Valley Vista got by West Point (Avondale, AZ), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Griffins battle the Edison Chargers (Huntington Beach, CA) in a Sunset - Surf contest, on Monday, September 23. Los Alamitos will attempt to move on its 21-4 season record. The Chargers enter the contest with a 3-19 record after their 3-1 league loss to Newport Harbor (Newport Beach, CA).
