September 21, 2024: Sandy, OR 97055 Sandy Pioneers (Sandy, OR) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting McDaniel Mountain Lions (Portland, OR), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Sandy improves its record to 8-3 on the season. The Pioneers travel to Forest Grove (Forest Grove, OR) to face the Vikings in a non-league test on Saturday, September 21. The Vikings go into the test with a record of 4-6. Forest Grove won 3-0 in their recent league test against Sherwood (Sherwood, OR)
The Mountain Lions now own a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Churchill for a non-league test on Saturday, September 21. McDaniel will face a Lancers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Ridgeview (Redmond, OR). The Lancers record now stands at 4-2.
