The Xavier College Prep Gators volleyball squad (Phoenix, AZ), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Mira Costa Mustangs (Manhattan Beach, CA)

With the win, Mira Costa improves its record to 15-5 on the season. The Mustangs travel to El Segundo (El Segundo, CA) to encounter the Eagles in a Bay battle on Tuesday, September 24. The Eagles go into the battle with a record of 7-9. El Segundo won 2-0 in their recent non-league battle against Wildwood (Los Angeles, CA)

The Gators now own a 12-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Branson for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 21. Xavier College Prep will encounter a Bulls squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Terra Linda (San Rafael, CA). The Bulls record now stands at 8-2.
