September 21, 2024: Schaumburg, IL 60194 Trinity Blazers (River Forest, IL) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Schaumburg Saxons (Schaumburg, IL), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Trinity advances its record to 11-12 on the season. The Blazers travel to Aurora Central Catholic (Aurora, IL) to face the Chargers in a Girls Catholic (GCAC) test on Tuesday, September 24. The Chargers go into the test with a record of 7-5. Aurora Central Catholic won 2-0 in their recent league test against De La Salle (Chicago, IL)
The Saxons now sport a 1-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fremd for a Mid-Suburban test on Tuesday, September 24. Schaumburg will face a Vikings squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Glenbard East (Lombard, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 15-6.
