September 21, 2024: Bussey, IA 50044 Van Buren County Warriors (Keosauqua, IA) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Twin Cedars Sabers (Bussey, IA), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Van Buren County advances its record to 10-4 on the season. The Warriors travel to Cardinal (Eldon, IA) to face the Comets in a non-league test on Saturday, September 21. The Comets go into the test with a record of 2-9.
The Sabers now sport a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lamoni for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 24. Twin Cedars will face a Demons squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Clarke (Osceola, IA). The Demons record now stands at 8-4.
