September 21, 2025: New Orleans, LA 70115 Academy of the Sacred Heart Cardinals (New Orleans, LA) boosters left the game thrilled Sunday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting St. Charles Catholic Comets (LaPlace, LA), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Academy of the Sacred Heart upgrades its record to 13-2 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Metairie Park Country Day (Metairie, LA) to face the Cajuns in a non-league test on Wednesday, September 24. The Cajuns go into the test with a record of 8-3. Metairie Park Country Day won 3-1 in their recent non-league test against E.D. White (Thibodaux, LA)
The Comets now own a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Archbishop Hannan for a non-league test on Sunday, September 21. St. Charles Catholic will face a Hawks squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over St. Mary's Dominican (New Orleans, LA). The Hawks record now stands at 9-3.
