In Sunday's non-league challenge, the visiting St. Mary's Knights volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Veritas Prep Falcons.

With the win, St. Mary's improves its record to 12-5 on the season. The Knights host Shadow Mountain (Phoenix, AZ) to face the Matadors in a non-league test on Monday, September 22. The Matadors go into the test with a record of 5-5. Shadow Mountain won 3-0 in their recent league test against Moon Valley (Phoenix, AZ)

The Falcons now own a 11-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Horizon Honors for a 2A - Valley test on Tuesday, September 23. Veritas Prep will face a Eagles squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Odyssey Institute (Buckeye, AZ). The Eagles record now stands at 4-17.
