September 22, 2022: Capitan, NM 88316 The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Ruidoso Warriors (Ruidoso, NM) and the host Capitan Tigers (Capitan, NM), saw Ruidoso's volleyball squad nip Capitan by a tally of 2-1.
With the win, Ruidoso upgrades its record to 5-1 on the year. The Warriors travel to Hatch Valley (Hatch, NM) to play the Bears in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 27. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Hatch Valley lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Ruidoso (Ruidoso, NM)
The Tigers now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Mesilla Valley Christian School for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 1. Capitan will play a SonBlazers squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Cobre (Bayard, NM). The SonBlazers record now stands at 1-2.
