Georgia High School Softball - Thomasville bounces Dougherty
September 22, 2022: Thomasville, GA 31792 The Thomasville Bulldogs (Thomasville, GA) softball routed the visiting Dougherty Trojans (Albany, GA), 22-6 in Thursday's league bout.
The Bulldogs (16-5) will now prepare for their bout against Crisp County (Cordele, GA). The Cougars go into the 3A Region 1 bout with a 16-3 record. In their last bout, Crisp County toppled Monroe (Albany, GA), 17-0, in a league challenge.
With the loss, Dougherty falls to 3-14 on the campaign. The Trojans host Seminole County (Donalsonville, GA) to face the Indians in a non-league challenge on Monday, September 26. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 10-6. Seminole County won 16-1 in their recent league challenge against Calhoun County (Edison, GA)
