Georgia High School Softball - Tift County bounces Veterans
September 22, 2022: Kathleen, GA 31047 The crowd at Thursday's league match between the Tift County Blue Devils (Tifton, GA) and the host Veterans Warhawks (Kathleen, GA), saw Tift County's softball squad achieve victory over Veterans by a count of 15-5.
The Blue Devils now sport a 9-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Thomas County Central for a 6A Region 1 match on Tuesday, September 27. Tift County will face a Yellow Jackets squad coming off a 14-0 league win over Northside (Warner Robins, GA). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 11-10.
With the loss, Veterans falls to 12-7 on the campaign. The Warhawks travel to Lee County (Leesburg, GA) to face the Trojans in a 6A Region 1 match on Monday, September 26. The Trojans enter the match with a record of 7-13. Lee County lost 15-1 in their recent league match against Houston County (Warner Robins, GA)
