September 22, 2022: Mellette, SD 57461 Northwestern Area Wildcats (Mellette, SD) backers left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Waubay/Summit Mustangs (Waubay, SD), 3-0 in a league match.
Next up, the Wildcats battle the Huron Tigers (Huron, SD) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 24. Northwestern Area will attempt to better on its 13-5 season record. The Tigers come into the match with a 10-1 record after their 3-0 league win over Brookings (Brookings, SD).
With the loss, Waubay/Summit drops to 3-10 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Webster (Webster, SD) to battle the Bearcats in a non-league match on Tuesday, September 27. The Bearcats come into the match with a record of 9-5. Webster lost 3-0 in their recent non-league match against Hamlin (Hayti, SD)
