Maryland High School Football - Catoctin topples Tuscarora
September 22, 2023: Frederick, MD 21703 The Catoctin Cougars (Thurmont, MD) football defeated the host Tuscarora Titans (Frederick, MD), 35-6 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Cougars face the Clarke County Eagles (Berryville, VA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 29. Catoctin will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record. The Eagles enter the bout with a 4-0 record after their 40-7 non-league win over Warren County (Front Royal, VA).
The Titans (0-5) will now prepare for their bout against Linganore (Frederick, MD). The Lancers enter the Central Maryland bout with a 3-1 record. In their last bout, Linganore lost by Oakdale (Ijamsville, MD), 21-14, in a league bout.
