The Central of Coosa County Cougars football team (Rockford, AL), was tipped 20-14 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Thorsby Rebels (Thorsby, AL)

The Rebels (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Fayetteville (Sylacauga, AL). The Wolves come into the 2A Region 4 challenge with a 1-3 record.

The Cougars now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Woodland for a 2A Region 4 challenge on Friday, October 6. Central of Coosa County will meet a Bobcats team coming off a 28-7 league loss to Ranburne (Ranburne, AL). The Bobcats record now stands at 1-4.
