Texas High School Football - Seguin smashes Corsicana

The Seguin Cougars (Arlington, TX) football routed the host Corsicana Tigers (Corsicana, TX), 42-7 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Cougars face the Everman Bulldogs (Everman, TX) in a 5A-2 Region II District 5 bout, on Thursday, October 5. Seguin will attempt to advance on its 3-2 season record. The Bulldogs enter the bout with a 3-2 record after their 49-33 league loss to Ennis (Ennis, TX).

The Tigers (2-3) will now prepare for their bout against Burleson (Burleson, TX). The Elks enter the 5A-2 Region II District 5 bout with a 0-5 record. In their last bout, Burleson was overwhelmed by Mansfield Summit (Arlington, TX), 49-11, in a league bout.
