With the triumph, Cuero improves its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Gobblers host Giddings (Giddings, TX) to confront the Buffaloes in a 4A-2 Region III District 12 test on Friday, October 6. The Buffaloes come into the test with a record of 1-4. Giddings lost 56-28 in their recent non-league test against Navarro (Geronimo, TX)
With the loss, Jones drops to 4-1 on the campaign. The Trojans host Floresville (Floresville, TX) to confront the Tigers in a 4A-1 Region IV District 15 test on Friday, October 6. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 1-3. Floresville lost 38-14 in their recent non-league test against Central Catholic (San Antonio, TX)
