The Huntington North Vikings football team (Huntington, IN), was ripped 49-13 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting DeKalb Barons (Waterloo, IN)

The Barons (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Norwell (Ossian, IN). The Knights come into the Northeast 8 challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Norwell was ripped by East Noble (Kendallville, IN), 49-15, in a league challenge.

The Vikings now sport a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they host Leo for a Northeast 8 challenge on Friday, September 29. Huntington North will meet a Lions team coming off a 40-0 league win over Bellmont (Decatur, IN). The Lions record now stands at 4-2.
