In Friday's non-league game, the DeSoto Central Jaguars (Southaven, MS) football team got by the host Olive Branch Conquistadors (Olive Branch, MS), by a score of 20-14.

The Jaguars (3-2) will now prepare for their game against Grenada (Grenada, MS). The Chargers come into the non-league game with a 3-2 record. In their last game, Grenada was tipped by Bartlett (Bartlett, TN), 24-21, in a non-league game.

The Conquistadors now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Center Hill for a 6A Region 1 game on Friday, October 6. Olive Branch will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 20-8 non-league win over Gentry (Indianola, MS). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-2.
