The River City Raiders football team (West Sacramento, CA), was ripped 38-6 in Friday's league challenge with the host Laguna Creek Cardinals (Elk Grove, CA)

The Cardinals (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Kennedy (Sacramento, CA). The Cougars come into the Metropolitan challenge with a 0-6 record. In their last challenge, Kennedy was ripped by Monterey Trail (Elk Grove, CA), 70-0, in a league challenge.

The Raiders now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to McClatchy for a Metropolitan challenge on Friday, September 29. River City will meet a Lions team coming off a 48-0 league loss to Grant (Sacramento, CA). The Lions record now stands at 1-4.
