The Spring Creek Spartans (Spring Creek, NV) football routed the visiting Sparks Railroaders (Sparks, NV), 50-14 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Spartans face the South Tahoe Vikings (South Lake Tahoe, CA) in a 3A Northern bout, on Friday, September 29. Spring Creek will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Vikings enter the bout with a 1-4 record after their 42-0 league loss to Fernley (Fernley, NV).

The Railroaders (0-6) will now prepare for their bout against Elko (Elko, NV). The Indians enter the 3A Northern bout with a 3-2 record. In their last bout, Elko walloped Lowry (Winnemucca, NV), 42-0, in a league bout.
