Highland Regional Tartans (Blackwood, NJ) supporters were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Triton Mustangs (Runnemede, NJ), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Tartans confront the Timber Creek Regional Chargers (Erial, NJ) in a Tri-County - Royal challenge, on Tuesday, September 26. Highland Regional will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Chargers enter the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 4-1 league win over Cumberland (Seabrook, NJ).

The Mustangs now possess a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Deptford for a non-league challenge on Monday, September 25.
