In their next game, the Matadors face the California Grizzlies (San Ramon, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 29. Granada will attempt to advance on its 5-0 season record. The Grizzlies enter the bout with a 3-2 record after their 53-0 non-league win over Milpitas (Milpitas, CA).
The Pirates (1-3) will now prepare for their bout against Castlemont (Oakland, CA). The Knights enter the non-league bout with a 0-2 record. In their last bout, Castlemont was overwhelmed by Bishop O'Dowd (Oakland, CA), 60-8, in a non-league bout.
