September 22, 2023: Worcester, MA 01602 The crowd at Friday's non-league test between the Doherty Memorial Highlanders (Worcester, MA) and the visiting Auburn Rockets (Auburn, MA), saw Doherty Memorial's soccer squad get by Auburn by a margin of 1-0.
The Highlanders now sport a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to North Middlesex Regional for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 26. Doherty Memorial will meet a Patriots squad coming off a 6-1 league win over Groton-Dunstable (Groton, MA). The Patriots record now stands at 5-1.
With the loss, Auburn drops to 1-2 on the season. The Rockets travel to Uxbridge (Uxbridge, MA) to meet the Spartans in a Southern Worcester County League test on Monday, September 25. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 1-4. Uxbridge 0-0 in their recent non-league test against Whitinsville Christian (Whitinsville, MA)
