New York High School Soccer - Beacon knocks off Chester
September 22, 2023: Chester, NY 10918 Beacon Bulldogs (Beacon, NY) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Chester Hambletonians (Chester, NY), 7-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Bulldogs confront the Stuyvesant Peglegs (New York, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Sunday, September 24. Beacon will attempt to better on its 5-3 season record. The Peglegs enter the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 6-0 non-league win over Irving (New York, NY).
The Hambletonians now have a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tri-Valley for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 29. Chester will confront a Bears team coming off a 11-3 league loss to Eldred (Eldred, NY). The Bears record now stands at 0-1.
