California High School Volleyball - Clovis nudged by Newport Harbor
September 22, 2023: Clovis, CA 93611 The Newport Harbor Sailors volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Clovis Cougars to 2 in the Sailors non-league victory on Friday.
The Sailors now possess a 11-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to San Marcos for a non-league game on Saturday, September 23. Newport Harbor will meet a Royals team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Rosary Academy (Fullerton, CA). The Royals record now stands at 14-9.
The Cougars (7-17) will now prepare for their game against Clovis East (Clovis, CA). The Timberwolves enter the Tri-River game with a 16-13 record. In their last game, Clovis East nipped Paso Robles (Paso Robles, CA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
