September 22, 2023: Santa Maria, CA 93455 The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Royal Highlanders (Simi Valley, CA) and the host St. Joseph Knights (Santa Maria, CA), saw Royal's volleyball squad beat St. Joseph by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Royal upgrades its record to 13-5 on the year. The Highlanders travel to Bishop Diego (Santa Barbara, CA) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Friday, September 22. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 7-10. Bishop Diego won 3-1 in their recent league bout against Foothill Tech (Ventura, CA)
The Knights now own a 3-14 record. They play next when they travel to Quartz Hill for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 23. St. Joseph will play a Royals squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Bishop Diego (Santa Barbara, CA). The Royals record now stands at 10-9.
