In Monday's non-league challenge, the visiting Elyria Catholic Panthers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Open Door Christian Patriots.

The Panthers (10-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin (Chardon, OH). The Lions go into the non-league test with a 0-5 record. In their last outing, Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin lost by Padua Franciscan (Parma, OH), 2-0, in a non-league outing.
