North Carolina High School Soccer - Asheboro knocks off Jordan-Matthews
September 22, 2025: Asheboro, NC 27203 In Monday's non-league test, the host Asheboro Blue Comets soccer team scored a close 5-0 triumph over the Jordan-Matthews Jets.
With the triumph, Asheboro advances its record to 7-4 on the campaign. The Blue Comets host Glenn (Kernersville, NC) to clash with the Bobcats in a non-league test on Wednesday, September 24. The Bobcats come into the test with a record of 10-0. Glenn won 7-1 in their recent non-league outing against Eastern Guilford (Gibsonville, NC)
Next up, the Jets play the Southern Lee Cavaliers (Sanford, NC) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, September 25. Jordan-Matthews will attempt to improve on its 7-4 season record. The Cavaliers go into the outing with a 4-6 record after their 2-0 league win over Union Pines (Cameron, NC).
