With the win, Meridian improves its record to 6-12 on the season. The Wildcats host Choctaw County (Butler, AL) to encounter the Tigers in a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 23. The Tigers go into the battle with a record of 4-6.
The Wildcats now own a 2-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Eupora for a Class 2A Region 4 battle on Tuesday, September 23. Kemper County will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Velma Jackson (Camden, MS). The Eagles record now stands at 10-8.
