The Atkinson County Rebels (Pearson, GA) football nudged the host Seminole County Indians (Donalsonville, GA), 30-29 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Rebels face the McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers (Darien, GA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 30. Atkinson County will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Buccaneers enter the bout with a 4-1 record after their 40-13 non-league win over Bradwell Institute (Hinesville, GA).

The Indians (1-4) will now prepare for their bout against Baconton Charter (Baconton, GA). The Blazers enter the A D2 Region 1B bout with a 1-4 record. In their last bout, Baconton Charter was nudged by Randolph-Clay (Cuthbert, GA), 32-8, in a non-league bout.
