September 23, 2022: Chattanooga, TN 37411 The Austin-East Roadrunners football team (Knoxville, TN), was beaten 32-6 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Brainerd Panthers (Chattanooga, TN)
The Panthers (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Loudon (Loudon, TN). The Redskins come into the 3A Region 3 challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Loudon knocked off Greenback (Greenback, TN), 48-20, in a non-league challenge.
The Roadrunners now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Union County for a 3A Region 2 challenge on Friday, September 30. Austin-East will meet a Patriots team coming off a 33-12 non-league loss to Grainger (Rutledge, TN). The Patriots record now stands at 1-5.
