South Dakota High School Football - West Central defeats Canton

September 23, 2022: Hartford, SD 57033

In Friday's league match, the host West Central Trojans football squad scored a good 34-12 victory over the Canton C-Hawks.

In their next game, the Trojans clash with the Tri-Valley Mustangs (Colton, SD) in a Dakota 12 match, on Friday, September 30. West Central will attempt to move on its 5-0 season record. The Mustangs enter the match with a 3-2 record after their 32-6 non-league loss to Mt. Vernon/Plankinton (Mt. Vernon, SD).

The C-Hawks (2-3) will now prepare for their match against Madison (Madison, SD). The Bulldogs enter the Dakota 12 match with a 1-4 record. In their last match, Madison dropped by Dakota Valley (North Sioux City, SD), 14-7, in a league match.
