In Friday's non-league game, the Cold Springs Eagles (Bremen, AL) football team knocked off the host Shoals Christian Flame (Florence, AL), by a final score of 48-20.

The Eagles (3-3) will now prepare for their game against Winston County (Double Springs, AL). The Yellowjackets come into the 2A Region 5 game with a 4-1 record.

The Flame now hold a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Meek for a 1A Region 8 game on Friday, October 7.
