September 23, 2022: Darlington, WI 53530 The Darlington Redbirds football squad scored 20 points and restricted the visiting Mineral Point Pointers to 7 in the Redbirds league victory on Friday.
The Redbirds now possess a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Cuba City for a Southwest Wisconsin Activities test on Friday, September 30. Darlington will confront a Cubans team coming off a 62-8 league win over Parkview/Albany (Orfordville, WI). The Cubans record now stands at 1-5.
With the loss, Mineral Point drops to 2-5 on the campaign. The Pointers host Belleville (Belleville, WI) to confront the Wildcats in a Southwest Wisconsin Activities test on Friday, September 30. The Wildcats enter the bout with a record of 7-0. Belleville won 49-0 in their recent league bout against Fennimore (Fennimore, WI)
