Iowa High School Football - Dowling Catholic overwhelms Lincoln

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Dowling Catholic Maroons (West Des Moines, IA) and the host Lincoln Lynx (Council Bluffs, IA), observed Dowling Catholic's football squad bounce Lincoln by a count of 52-0.

The Maroons now own a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Johnston for a 5A Group 2 contest on Friday, September 30. Dowling Catholic will encounter a Dragons squad coming off a 10-6 league win over Waukee (Waukee, IA). The Dragons record now stands at 3-2.

Coming up next, the Lynx encounter the Ames Little Cyclones (Ames, IA) in a 5A Group 2 contest, on Friday, September 30. Lincoln will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Little Cyclones go into the contest with a 4-1 record after their 57-28 league win over Sioux City North (Sioux City, IA).
