The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Sierra Pacific Golden Bears (Hanford, CA) and the host Foothill Trojans (Bakersfield, CA), observed Sierra Pacific's football squad defeat Foothill by a count of 31-3.

The Golden Bears now own a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Selma for a non-league contest on Friday, September 30. Sierra Pacific will play a Bears squad coming off a 47-27 non-league loss to Reedley (Reedley, CA). The Bears record now stands at 0-5.

Coming up next, the Trojans play the East Bakersfield Blades (Bakersfield, CA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 30. Foothill will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Blades go into the contest with a 0-5 record after their 41-21 non-league loss to La Salle (Pasadena, CA).
