The Lafayette Christian Academy Knights football team (Lafayette, LA), was beaten 35-20 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Ruston Bearcats (Ruston, LA)

The Bearcats (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Neville (Monroe, LA). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Neville achieved victory over North Caddo (Vivian, LA), 50-24, in a non-league challenge.

The Knights now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Avoyelles for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 30. Lafayette Christian Academy will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 70-16 non-league win over Bunkie (Bunkie, LA). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-1.
