The St. Joseph Bears football squad scored 13 points and restricted the host Portage Central Mustangs to 12 in the Bears league victory on Friday.

The Bears now possess a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Portage Northern for a Southwestern Michigan battle on Friday, September 30. St. Joseph will face a Huskies squad coming off a 49-41 league win over Lakeview (Battle Creek, MI). The Huskies record now stands at 3-2.
