September 23, 2022: Glendale, AZ 85305 The Kellis Cougars (Glendale, AZ) volleyball nudged the visiting McClintock Chargers (Tempe, AZ), 2-1 in Friday's non-league outing.
With the win, Kellis upgrades its record to 3-5 on the year. The Cougars host Sunrise Mountain (Peoria, AZ) to face the Mustangs in a 5A - Northwest outing on Monday, September 26. The Mustangs go into the outing with a record of 6-2. Sunrise Mountain won 3-0 in their recent league outing against Centennial (Peoria, AZ)
The Chargers now own a 10-8 record. They play next when they travel to Poston Butte for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 24. McClintock will face a Broncos squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to American Leadership Academy (Queen Creek, AZ). The Broncos record now stands at 8-7.
