September 23, 2023: Zanesville, OH 43701 The crowd at Saturday's non-league test between the Johnstown-Monroe Johnnies (Johnstown, OH) and the host West Muskingum Tornadoes (Zanesville, OH), saw Johnstown-Monroe's soccer squad get by West Muskingum by a margin of 5-4.
The Johnnies now sport a 5-5 record. They play next when they travel to Tree of Life Christian for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 26. Johnstown-Monroe will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Mansfield Christian (Mansfield, OH). The Trojans record now stands at 6-5.
