September 23, 2023: Monticello, KY 42633 The Wayne County Cardinals (Monticello, KY) soccer bounced the visiting Whitley County Colonels (Williamsburg, KY), 8-2 in Saturday's non-league bout.
With the win, Wayne County moves its record to 15-5 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to North Laurel (London, KY) to battle the Jaguars in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 26. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 9-4. North Laurel won 4-1 in their recent league bout against Oneida Baptist Institute (Oneida, KY)
In their next game, the Colonels face the Southwestern Warriors (Somerset, KY) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 26. Whitley County will attempt to better on its 6-9 season record. The Warriors enter the contest with a 2-15 record after their 6-0 non-league loss to Model (Richmond, KY).
